At this time we offer one size that should fit most children from ages 2 through 7. In the future we plan to create more sizing options for you to choose from, including infant and up to adults!

Our ear covers do not use any mechanical or moving parts to attach to the ears, so there is less risk of pinching or pain. The ear covers also avoid any insertion into the child’s ear, preventing damage or additional pain.

Our ear covers are currently being made using 3D printed material, so you may see some of these fabrication lines on the product. These lines are purely aesthetic and should not impact the function of the ear cover.

Ear Mutts™ Protective Ear Covers are made from 3D printed PLA plastic.

Unfortunately, standard PLA printed plastic can only withstand temperatures up to about 55°C to 60°C (130°F to 140°F) before it begins to soften, warp, and lose its structural shape. This is around the temperature of the home dishwasher, but far more than a child’s bath water temperature.
